วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2568 - ฝ่ายเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส พร้อมด้วยนางสาวอาทินันท์ อินทรพิมพ์ อัครราชทูต (ฝ่ายเกษตร) ประจำกรุงวอชิงตัน ดี.ซี. และ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส เข้าพบหารือกับผู้บริหารบริษัท D.P Produce, Inc. ผู้นำเข้าและจัดจำหน่ายสินค้าเกษตรรายใหญ่ของสหรัฐฯ โดยสินค้าที่นำเข้าจากไทย ได้แก่ มะขามหวาน มะขามเปรี้ยว น้ำมะขามเปียก และขิง เป็นต้น ซึ่งบริษัท D.P Produce, Inc. ถือเป็นผู้นำเข้ามะขามไทยรายใหญ่ที่สุดในสหรัฐฯ ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ ได้ติดตามสถานการณ์การนำเข้า อุปสรรค และโอกาสของสินค้าเกษตรไทยในสหรัฐฯ ในประเด็นผลกระทบเชิงนโยบายด้านภาษีของประธานาธิบดีทรัมป์ พร้อมทั้ง ได้เข้าชมคลังสินค้า ห้องเย็น และสินค้าเกษตรของบริษัทฯ

June 30, 2025 - Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles along with Ms. Adhinand Indrapim, Minister (Agriculture), Washington D.C. and representatives from Thai Trade Center, Los Angeles met with executive of D.P. Produce, Inc., a key importer and distributor of agricultural products from Thailand to the U.S. The company imports a range of products from Thailand, including sweet tamarind, sour tamarind, tamarind paste, and ginger. D.P. Produce, Inc. is currently the largest importer of Thai tamarind in the U.S. On the same occasion, the delegation followed up on the current situation regarding the importation, challenges, and opportunities of Thai agricultural products in the U.S. market, particularly in light of the potential impacts from President Trump’s tariff policies. The team also visited the company’s warehouse and cold storage facility.
