เมื่อวันที่ 9 เมษายน 2562  ฝ่ายการเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส ได้เข้าพบหารือกับ Mr. Isao Kiyota Vasquez และ Miss Sofia Patiño Rodriguez, ผู้บริหารฝ่ายจัดซื้อของบริษัท Kume Importaciones S.A. de C.V. ซึ่งนำเข้าสินค้าอาหารจากเอเชียรายใหญ่ในเม็กซิโก และมีระบบขนส่งกระจายสินค้าของบริษัท ทั้งนี้ นับเป็นบริษัทที่นำเข้าสินค้าจากไทยมากที่สุด โดยสินค้าที่ได้รับความนิยม ได้แก่ ข้าวหอมมะลิ เครื่องดื่ม และน้ำผลไม้

On April 9, 2019, Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles (OAA-LA) had a meeting with the Purchasing Managers of Importaciones S.A. de C.V.; Mr. Isao Kiyota Vasquez and Miss Sofia Patiño Rodriguez. The Importaciones S.A. de C.V., is a major importer of Asian food products in Mexico which has its own distribution channel and logistics system. In terms of products from Thailand, the company is currently considered as the most top importer with a particular of jasmine rice, beverages and fruit juices.
