วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2568  - ฝ่ายเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส พร้อมด้วยนางสาวอาทินันท์ อินทรพิมพ์ อัครราชทูต (ฝ่ายเกษตร) ประจำกรุงวอชิงตัน ดี.ซี. และสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส เข้าพบหารือผู้บริหารบริษัท Best Oriental Produce, Inc. ผู้นำเข้าและกระจายสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารรายใหญ่ในสหรัฐฯ และเป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำเข้ามะพร้าวน้ำหอมผลสดจากไทยรายใหญ่ที่สุดในสหรัฐฯ โดยนอกจากมะพร้าวแล้ว บริษัทฯ ยังมีการนำเข้ามะขามหวานจากไทยด้วย ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ ได้ติดตามสถานการณ์การนำเข้า อุปสรรค และโอกาสของสินค้าเกษตรไทยในสหรัฐฯ ในประเด็นผลกระทบเชิงนโยบายด้านภาษีของประธานาธิบดีทรัมป์ พร้อมทั้ง ได้เข้าชมคลังสินค้า ห้องเย็น และสินค้าเกษตรของบริษัทฯ

June 30, 2025 - The Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles; Ms. Adhinand Indrapim, Minister (Agriculture), Washington D.C.; and the Thai Trade Center, Los Angeles met with executive of Best Oriental Produce, Inc., a leading importer and distributor of Thai produce and food products in the United States. The company is also one of the largest importers of fresh Thai Nam Hom coconuts in the U.S. market. In addition to coconuts, the company also imports sweet tamarind from Thailand. On the same occasion, the delegation followed up on the current situation regarding the importation, challenges, and opportunities of Thai agricultural products in the U.S. market, particularly in light of the potential impacts from President Trump’s tariff policies. The team also visited the company’s warehouse and cold storage facility.
