เมื่อวันที่ 20 - 21 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2568 ฝ่ายเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส ได้เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงและประชาสัมพันธ์ผลไม้ไทยในงาน Thai Fest by the Beach 2025 ณ ท่าเรือซานตา​โมนิกา (Santa Monica Pier) มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่มีชื่อเสียงมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของสหรัฐอเมริกา ดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวเป็นจำนวนมากจากทั่วโลก เพื่อส่งเสริมประชาสัมพันธ์และสร้างการรับรู้ถึงผลไม้ไทยในกลุ่มผู้บริโภคชาวอเมริกันและนักท่องเที่ยวให้เป็นที่รู้จักแพร่หลายมากยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนกระตุ้นความต้องการและการส่งออกสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารไทยมายังสหรัฐฯ

สินค้าเกษตรที่ฝ่ายเกษตรฯ นำมาจัดแสดงและแจกให้ชิมภายในงานดังกล่าว ได้แก่ มะพร้าวน้ำหอมผลสด มะขามหวาน มะม่วงมหาชนกแช่แข็ง และผลไม้บรรจุกระป๋อง อีกทั้ง ฝ่ายเกษตรฯ ยังได้จัดทำถุงผ้าโลโก้กระทรวง ชื่อสำนักงาน และลายผลไม้ไทย นำมาแจกเป็นของที่ระลึกให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ให้สำนักงานและผลไม้ไทยเป็นที่รู้จักกว้างขวางมากยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมทั้งแจกของที่ระลึกเพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์เครื่องหมายรับรองมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหาร “Q” ของสำนักงานมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารแห่งชาติ

ทั้งนี้ ผลไม้ไทยที่ฝ่ายเกษตรฯ นำมาจัดแสดงและแจกให้ชิมได้รับผลการตอบรับจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นอย่างดี โดยเฉพาะมะม่วงมหาชนกแช่แข็งและมะขามหวานได้รับความสนใจเป็นพิเศษ โดยพบว่าผู้เข้าเยี่ยมชมคูหาหลายท่านรับประทานมะขามหวานเป็นครั้งแรกและสนใจที่จะไปหาซื้อมาบริโภคเอง ในส่วนของมะม่วง มหาชนกแช่แข็งก็ได้รับความนิยมเช่นกัน เนื่องจากมีรสชาติหอมหวานและสดชื่น นอกจากนี้ ฝ่ายเกษตรฯ ได้จัดกิจกรรมเปิดมะพร้าวด้วย Coco Jack อุปกรณ์เปิดมะพร้าวที่ปลอดภัยและใช้งานง่าย และได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เยี่ยมชมคูหาฝ่ายเกษตรฯ

ภายในงานยังมีร้านอาหารไทยในเขตนครลอสแอนเจลิสและเมืองใกล้เคียงนำเสนอเมนูสไตล์ Street Food ผู้นำเข้าสินค้าอาหารและผลไม้ไทยได้จำหน่ายทุเรียนสด มะพร้าวสด และสินค้าขนมหวานไทย และผู้ส่งออกน้ำมะพร้าวบรรจุขวดเข้าร่วมงานด้วย อีกทั้ง ผู้เข้าร่วมงานยังสนุกสนานเพลิดเพลินไปกับการแสดงรำไทย มวยไทย และดนตรีสด ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศงานแฟร์ริมทะเล

 

On September 20 - 21, 2025, Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles (OAALA) participated in the Thai Fest by the Beach 2025 which was held at Santa Monica Pier, California, one of the most famous tourist destinations in the United States that attracts visitors from around the world. The participation aimed to promote and raise awareness of Thai fruits among American consumers and international tourists, and to increase demand and the export of Thai agricultural and food products to the U.S. market.

The Thai fruits which were showcased and offered as samples in the festival included Nam Hom coconuts, sweet tamarind, frozen rainbow mangoes, and canned fruits. In addition, the office also prepared tote bags featuring the Ministry’s logo, the office’s name, and Thai fruit designs as souvenirs to further promote the office and Thai fruits. Apart from the tote bags, souvenirs highlighted the “Q” mark certified by the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards (ACFS) were also displayed and given out to promote the recognition of Thailand’s agricultural quality standards.

The Thai fruits showcased and offered for tasting by the Office of Agricultural Affairs received particularly positive feedback from visitors. The frozen rainbow mangoes and sweet tamarind drew special attention. Many attendees tried sweet tamarind for the first time and expressed interest in purchasing it afterwards. The frozen rainbow mangoes were also well received thanks to their naturally sweet and refreshing flavors. In addition, OAALA organized a fresh coconut opening activity using Coco Jack, a safe and user-friendly tool, which attracted strong interest from booth visitors.

The festival also featured Thai restaurants from Los Angeles and nearby cities offering a variety of street-food style menus. Importers of Thai food and fruits showcased products such as fresh durian, fresh coconuts, and Thai desserts, while exporters of bottled coconut water also took part in the fair. Visitors also enjoyed traditional Thai dance, Muay Thai demonstrations, and live music in a lively seaside fair atmosphere.
