เมื่อวันที่ 27 สิงหาคม 2557 คณะทีมประเทศไทย นำโดยนายจิระชัย ปั้นกระษิณ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเม็กซิโก พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ณ กรุงเม็กซิโก และฝ่ายการเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจอลิส ได้เข้าพบหารือกับ ผู้แทนหน่วยงาน The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food, (SAGARPHA) ซึ่งนำโดย Mr. Héctor Ortiz Ciscomani, Sonora's Minister of SAGARPH ณ เมือง Hermosillo  รัฐ Sonora ประเทศเม็กซิโก

September 27, 2014 : H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Mexico led the Thailand Team consist of Thai Trade Center Mexico, Thailand Office of Agricutural Affairs Los Angeles, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Héctor Ortiz Ciscomani, Sonora's Minister of The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food, (SAGARPHA) to introduce Thailand Team and discussed on how to further promote Thai- Sonora State relations and cooperation.
