23 มิถุนายน 2568 – ดร. ปิยวัฒน์ นัยโกวิท กงสุล (ฝ่ายเกษตร) ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่  ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส เข้าร่วมงาน Thailand Business Forum ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Turning Global Crisis into Thai Opportunity” ณ เมืองพอร์ตแลนด์ มลรัฐออริกอน งานสัมมนาดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นโดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส โดยมีผู้แทนจากทีมประเทศไทยและผู้บริหารบริษัทเอกชนทั้งไทยและสหรัฐฯ เข้าร่วมเป็นผู้บรรยาย พร้อมทั้งนักธุรกิจในพื้นที่เข้าร่วมกว่า 40 คน เข้าร่วมงาน โดยหัวข้อการบรรยายที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ แนวทางการดำเนินการของไทยจากผลกระทบของนโยบายภาษีของประธานาธิบดีทรัมป์ ภาพรวมการค้าระหว่างไทยกับสหรัฐฯ การขับเคลื่อนแผนการเปิดเส้นทางบินระหว่างไทยกับสหรัฐฯ ในอนาคต แนวทางส่งเสริมการลงทุนของไทยในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ ภายหลังจากการสัมมนาดังกล่าว ดร. ปิยวัฒน์ ยังได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมหารือเรื่องการใช้เทคโนโลยีด้านการเกษตร ร่วมกับสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุนในต่างประเทศ สำนักงานนครลอสแอนเจลิส และบริษัท Stevens ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านระบบการเก็บข้อมูลสิ่งแวดล้อมด้วยเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ และนำข้อมูลมาเชื่อมโยงกับเครื่องมือต่างๆ เพื่อยกระดับการสังเกตการธรรมชาติและการทำการเกษตร อาทิ เซ็นเซอร์วัดระดับน้ำ (Water Level Sensor) เซ็นเซอร์วัดความเร็วของผิวน้ำด้วยเรดาร์ (Surface Velocity Radar Sensor) เซ็นเซอร์วัดความชื้นในดิน (Hydraprobe) เซ็นเซอร์วัดระดับของน้ำด้วยเรดาร์และเซ็นเซอร์วัดความเร็วของผิวน้ำเพื่อการบริหารจัดการน้ำท่วม (Radar Water Level and Surface Velocity Sensor in Flood Management) เป็นต้น

 

June 23, 2025 – Dr. Piyawat Naigowit, Consul (Agriculture), Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles, participated in the Thailand Business Forum under the theme "Turning Global Crisis into Thai Opportunity" in Portland, Oregon. The seminar was hosted by the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Los Angeles with representatives from the Thai team and executives from both Thai and U.S. private companies serving as speakers. Over 40 local business people also attended the event. The key topics of discussion are such as Thailand's approach to the impact from President Trump's tariff policies, an overview of trade between Thailand and the U.S., plans for opening flight routes between Thailand and the U.S. in the future, and mutual strategies for promoting investment in high-potential sectors. Following the seminar, Dr. Piyawat also attended a meeting to discuss the use of agricultural technologies with the Royal Thai Consulate-General; Thailand Board of Investment, Los Angeles Office; and Stevens company. Stevens is a company specializing in environmental data acquisition systems using various technologies and linking the measurements to the in-field actions. Their discussion focused on utilizing technologies to enhance environmental monitoring and agricultural practices, such as water level sensors, surface velocity radar sensors, hydraprobe, and radar water level and surface velocity sensors in flood management, etc.
