วันที่ 1 กรกฏาคม 2568 - ฝ่ายเกษตร ประจำสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส พร้อมด้วยนางสาวอาทินันท์ อินทรพิมพ์ อัครราชทูต (ฝ่ายเกษตร) ประจำกรุงวอชิงตัน ดี.ซี. ได้ร่วมหารือกับผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ นครลอสแอนเจลิส ในประเด็นสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารไทยที่มีศักยภาพในตลาดสหรัฐฯ โดยมุ่งเน้นหารือในสินค้ากลุ่มผลไม้ อาทิ น้ำมะพร้าวสด ข้าว มะขาม มังคุด และทุเรียน และกลุ่มสินค้าเกษตรที่มีการแปรรูป เช่น ผลไม้กระป๋อง น้ำกะทิ และผลิตภัณฑ์ยาง จากการหารือเห็นว่า สินค้าในกลุ่มดังกล่าวมีความสามารถในการแข่งในตลาดสหรัฐฯ และภาครัฐควรให้การสนับสนุนและประชาสัมพันธ์ในตัวสินค้าอย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อให้เกิดอุปสงค์ที่มากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมยังถือโอกาสนี้ในการหารือประเด็นนโยบายการขึ้นภาษีของประธานาธิบดีทรัมป์ที่อาจจะส่งผลกระทบต่อการนำเข้าสินค้ามายังสหรัฐฯ  รวมทั้งประเด็นข้อกฎหมายของกฏหมาย Farm Bill และร่างกฏหมายภาษีและงบประมาณขนาดใหญ่ที่เรียกว่า "One Big Beautiful Bill" ในคราวเดียวกัน

 

July 1, 2025 - Thailand Office of Agricultural Affairs, Los Angeles and Ms. Adhinand Indrapim, Minister (Agriculture), Washington D.C. had a meeting with the Director of Thai Trade Center, Los Angeles. The discussion focused on Thai agricultural and food products with high potential in the US market, especially in the fruit commodities, such as fresh coconut water, rice, tamarind, mangosteen, and durian, as well as processed agricultural products, such as canned fruits, coconut milk, and rubber products.  As a result, these products are considered competitive in the U.S. market. Thai government should continuously support and promote these products to generate greater demand in the U.S. market. Additionally, the meeting also serves as an opportunity to discuss on President Trump’s tariff policy which may affect Thai exports to the U.S. The Farm bill and a large-scale tax and budget bill called “one big beautiful bill” are other topics which were touched upon.
